Visitation Guidelines

To improve the visitation process, visitors are asked to schedule a visitation period during the week prior to visitation held on Saturdays and Sundays.  You must register for a visitation period no later than Friday at 10:00pm the day prior to the start of the visits on Saturday.  Potential visitors will fill out a visitation registration form on the Sheriff’s Office App.  This is the most efficient method and the person scheduling the visit will be emailed within an appropriate amount of time after submitting their request, whether they have been approved or denied.

Only the visitor’s whose information was provided for the visitation period will be allowed to attend.

Potential visitors will be required to bring valid photo ID and will be subject to checks for contraband.

Potential visitors will still be required to follow all written rules and verbal directives given by jail staff.

Potential visitors will be required to wear a surgical mask or N95.  If you do not have one, one will be provided.  No cloth masks or face coverings will be allowed.  You will be temperature checked and asked covid-19 screening questions.  If you are currently the subject of a covid-19 quarantine order you will not be allowed into visitation.  If you have a fever you will also not be allowed into visitation.

Each housing unit has a designated time for visitation.  Please ask the individual you will be visiting what housing unit they are assigned too or contact the jail for the information.

Each inmate may receive no more than two visitors for each one-hour visit. Regular visitation will be 60 minutes each visit.

Inmates shall be entitled to receive a non-contact initial visit within 24 hours of admission. Facility safety and security will not be compromised to allow this visit.

Inmates who have not completed the intake covid-19 protocol will not be allowed to have a visit until they have been cleared medically.

Inmates who have tested positive for covid-19 will not be allowed to have a visit until the 10 day quarantine period is completed.

At this time, the brief embrace and kiss at the beginning and end of the visitation period will not be allowed.

All visitation rules and regulations can be found by clicking on the Corrections/Inmate Info icon on the front screen of the Sheriff’s Office App, then click on Visitation Information.
