Caregiver Resource Center
Serving caregivers of older persons and grandparents raising grandchildren. Established in 1990, the Caregiver Resource Center offers information and assistance, as well as emotional and educational support for those who are caregivers on a full time, part time, long-term or short-term basis.
Alzheimer's Disease & Other Dementia Support
A variety of support groups are offered throughout Steuben County addressing the needs of caregivers, friends and families of persons with dementia, adult children who are caring for their aging parents, and for persons living with dementia in early stages The resources of the Alzheimer's Association Rochester and Finger Lakes Region are available through support groups in the Southern Tier.
Community Seminars
Workshops on caregiver issues are presented throughout the year in Steuben County. We welcome suggestions for seminar topics.
Counseling
Individual counseling, as well as family meetings, are available to assist with the many challenges of caregiving and supporting those who are aging.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Program

Help for Families
In a perfect world, all family members agree on how to care for a loved one and everybody pitches in to help. Unfortunately, life is much more complex and family conflict is common. The good news is that help is available. For more information, read through the Family Meetings flyer (PDF).
Respite
