The Steuben County Task Force for the Prevention of Child Abuse will hold its annual “Steuben County Color Walk… to prevent child abuse” on Saturday, June 15, 2019. The walk will be a great family fun event in downtown Bath, during which participants follow a set course through the village, having a blast with their fellow walkers.
The Color?
Did we forget to mention the flying paint? At strategic points in the course, event volunteers – and perhaps some of the participants – will throw a rainbow of colored paint at the walkers… the more the better! The result will be a spectacular kaleidoscope of color and fun for the whole family, and a very visible – and colorful – reminder that we can all do something to help prevent child abuse.
The paint is non-toxic, and is considered a non-permanent biodegradable powder. White clothes are suggested for maximum effect, and eye/breathing protection is recommended. For more info, contact the Youth Bureau.
