The Gary S. Pruyn Youth Service Worker of the Year Award is presented by the Steuben County Youth Board each year to recognize one youth service worker that has done an outstanding job assisting youth – a “line worker” who provides direct services to Steuben County Youth.
The Service Worker Award is presented at the Youth Board’s Annual Dinner, generally targeting late January. A call for nominations is announced in the prior Fall season, and nominations may be received from any community member, with the exception of family members of the nominee. The deadline for nominations will target November 30th, but may be adjusted each year.
For additional information about this award, or the nomination process, contact the Steuben County Youth Bureau.
